Mini Grilling

It really feels like summertime in NYC. There's that certain smell, and I always sleep differently in the summer...waking up at odd hours to turn on the air conditioner. But this is still my favorite time of the year, even though I'm gross and sticky half the time. It's both leg and barbeque season and I could stay on my friend's rooftop in Brooklyn forever, overlooking the crazy city I call my home. This evening ended up with my friends and I covering just about everything we were grilling with pure barbeque sauce...that is, before we realized how good it would be to eat sauce straight from the bottle. Oohhhh, summer nights, you're going to rock.

Breakfast with Phillip Lim

Last week I stopped by Selfridges to welcome Phillip Lim to London, in the from of a breakfast get-together in his very own pop-up shop. I was given a little preview of the AW collection that will be in store from July, while Phillip himself took the time to talk to his guest, enthusiastically demonstrated the functionality of his 31 hour bag range that you already know I am a fan of. The black zipper clutch might just be the most perfect little evening bag I ever came across, definitely my next splurge.

I’m starting my weekend early and heading to the Canary Island tomorrow, check back soon for sunny updates!

With the Boys

(Gap Pocket V-neck, Vintage Belt, gifted J Brand Jeans, Zara Heels, gifted Oia Jules Chunky Gold Necklace, Alexa Leigh Star Necklace, Arm Swag from Top to Bottom: c/o Sabo Skirt, c/o Hannah Warner, c/o Vanessa Mooney, Diesel Watch, Oia Jules)

I'm back in LA and back to working as much as I can before I hit the road/sky (I'm going to Colorado this Friday.) Since I'm so busy I keep turning to simple outfits like a t-shirt and jeans and I really love dressing up a plain t-shirt with a chunky necklace.

Chicago, The Windy City

Did a lot of eating and walking in Chicago so comfy flats and sandals were a must. These photos were taken on Sunday and boy, was it hot. I think it was over 90 degrees plus a bit of humidity so I wore this dress with a bunch of cut-outs that provided ventilation.

There may be one thing I miss about home life in baby blue Prius. Yep, the thing is still sitting my garage back in sunny LA, and I do miss those long road-trips down the highway with all my friends in the backseat. I've always been the driver, and prefer to take control when I hit the road! Take a little peek at another look I sported just the other month back at Coachella. It's really no surprise that I've still got musical festivals on my mind.

Sooo there you have it, what will be in my suitcase on the next trip back to Cali, where the music's good and living's easy. Embroidered blouses, rock tees, colorful jeans, worn-in boots, and lots and lots of jewelry. Oh, and can't forget a killer red lip. Continue to follow me on Polyvore (I really am addicted) and
Enter the Polyvore/Prius c contest to win a 2 day pass to San Francisco's Outside Land's Festival in August!

I'm keeping my fingers crossed. I could use some bay area breeze! Now considering trading in my baby Prius for this bad boy :)

Good luck everyone!

Randolph Street Market Day One

(Bar III Military Jacket and Lace Romper, Sigerson Morrison Sandals)

Randolph Street Market in Chicago might be one of my favorite flea markets. I walked away with so many great finds (will share with you soon!) from home furnishings to jewelry all while there were different live bands playing keeping the flea market super fun. This flea market was held on both Saturday and Sunday so I'll share more pictures of the flea market!

A huge thank you to all my lovely readers who came out to the flea market. I'm so honored and flattered to have all of you guys as readers and for supporting me! xoxo
